German for University Studies
The intensive German language courses for university studies help students get the language preparation in the shortest time. There are 8 lessons every day. The duration of one lesson is 45 minutes.

The following themes will be studied in form of self-, partner- and group work, and also on practical lessons with help of learning materials: books, audio, and texts, video, fragments from films and internet sources.
Along with learning new vocabulary, pronunciation improvement, and learning strategies, the main attention is put on cultural aspects. During the course skills of comprehension and text understanding are developing.

During the lessons, there are always a lot of discussions about actual themes, which are present in the Austrian media, and also about educational aspects in the universities. We organize excursions to university, visitings of lectures and libraries. On grammar lessons students learn to work in groups, to organize collective presentations and get skills of intercultural communication.

Monday – Thursday
The exam is divided into two parts: written and oral. After getting the positive result on the written part, students are admitted to the oral exam.
The written part of a German language exam consists of text understanding, question answering according to the just read material, grammar part, and writing on the given theme. To get a positive result students need to get more than 50% of the right answers for all parts.
The oral part represents the dialogue. A student talks to the examinator and answers questions on the learned material. A student needs to prepare a monologue on the given theme too and to freely present its point of view for 10 minutes, using themed vocabulary.
